Recalling within minutes when we first arrived we were meet by Nancy. Nancy was so kind to welcome us and give us the instructions on how everything worked, what was offered and left her number for any additional information or needs we might have.

Millie's house was outstanding at best... Our family of 22 enjoyed everything the home had to offer. The weather was so nice several family members were able to go paddle boating in Mid December...wow what a pleasant surprise.

Lots of fire wood came in handy for all the day and nights fire pit gatherings.

Exploring the house was fun. Several discovering twists at every turn. The house has a ideal floor plan for large groups. Quite places as well as open areas for group activities.

The best floor plan to date. The beds comfortable and the rooms inviting.

The décor was just how I would have expected.

The family was entertained not only by a pool table, shuffle board area, and a extra large table seating area when many of our activities took place.

The master bedroom was designed for royalty. I could continue for quite sometime expounding on its offerings.

Great Venue - Better than Expected! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Renting a place for a venue as special as your daughter's wedding, sight unseen was a bit of a risk. We looked at the picture and read the reviews. Seemed like it would work. It was a secluded, private spot and had a gazebo. Two things she really wanted, so we went for it.

We've all been to places where the pictures overstated reality. You get there and say, "It's ok. We'll make it work." That wasn't our reaction at all. When we took our original tour of the property, it was well above what the pictures showed, and it was well above our expectations. Private, relaxing, and the views are spectacular. 

The home has the bedrooms really spread out, so you DON'T feel like you are on top of each other. With 22 people there we didn't trip over each other or feel like we were crowded in just to make 22 people fit. It was comfortable and relaxing,

The staff was great. Gave us a local number to call and if there was anything we needed, they were there quickly. They really want your experience to be a great one. And for us, it was.

My daughter's wedding was one she will never, ever forget. Bald eagles flying over the water. Kayaking to the 40' cliffs on the other side of the lake to climb them and jump into the water. Peaceful evenings. Sunrises over the lake.

I rarely give 5 star reviews. You must really over preform to get one. They did. It was really a great experience. We will look for reasons to go back.

​Nice place very pretty

We Love Millie's Getaway! This was our 2nd stay at Millie's and we will be back in the future. The house is perfect for our large family (12 adults and 5 kids) and it is so nice that everyone has a bathroom. The living and eating space is huge and the kids loved running around in it. The location on the lake is quiet and peaceful and the water isn't too rough, which is great for our little kids. The owners and property manager are great to work with. Looking forward to our next stay at Millie's.

This beautiful and specious home was the perfect spot for my friends and our families to get together and enjoy the lake. Our 5 families, including young children, found plenty to do in the area and the house was spacious enough that each family was able to stay in a suite. We enjoyed the 2 full kitchens, 2 large living spaces, and large covered deck. The dock and sandy beach provided lots of lake-side space as well. Tons of amenities rounded out our stay. We will be back for sure.

Spent a wonderful weekend here with 7 families. The house was spacious, well-maintained and a perfect place to relax for 3 fun-filled days. Highly- highly recommended!
